What can members expect by joining the Events committee?
Members will have the valuable opportunity to interact and assist speakers as well as various stakeholders of the legal community. Past speakers have included the present Minister for Law, K Shanmugam, members of the criminal bar and representatives of the Attorney-General Chambers.
What is the commitment like for CJC members?
Every CJC member will be allocated to at least one event and will be expected to help out in the planning process as well as on the day of the event itself. Members will be split into either the logistics, planning or publicity sub-committee and expected to help out their allocations.
Will I be able to initiate and plan events surrounding topics I am interested in?
Yes of course! Any ideas on future events are welcome!
